Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 Workshop

Metro Manila | Wednesday, 3 December, 2025 | 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM GMT+8

OVERVIEW

Learn more about the newly released Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 (RHEL10). You’ll learn to leverage RHEL 10 to its full potential, and explore topics like performance optimization, security enhancements, and user interface changes.

In the ever-evolving landscape of information technology (IT), containers emerged as a fundamental component that revolutionized software development, deployment, and management. These lightweight and portable units encapsulate applications and their dependencies.

However, operating system customization remains a persistent challenge during day two configuration management and the initial creation of operating system (OS) images.

This workshop introduces what’s new in RHEL 10, RHEL Lightspeed, which combines decades of Red Hat’s Linux knowledge and expertise with AI technologies to help inform and simplify how you build, deploy and manage RHEL. We will focus on image mode, a novel approach to address these issues using bootc images. This approach combines the capabilities of Open Container Initiative (OCI) container images with the power and flexibility of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. We will also cover Red Hat’s multilayered approach to Linux security, risk management, and compliance.

What you’ll learn:

  • Explore new features and changes in RHEL 10
  • Build and distribute RHEL images using standard container tools.
  • Customize the image for multiple different environments.
  • Manage updates to both the operating system and application components
  • Hands-on lab: Update and rollback of an image mode host, including a look at filesystem considerations. Change system images to support rapid experimentation
  • Red Hat’s multilayered approach to Linux security, risk management, and compliance
